TUTORIAL NETWORK

ThinkTank Learning has over 120 tutors at your service. Our tutorial network covers a significant portion of the Bay Area, even spanning to Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Foster City.
Our tutors and teachers are knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate.

• Knowledgeable - All of our tutors have at least a Bachelor's degree from a solid university in the area they tutor. Not only that, but they are also required to pass a placement test we give them as well.
• Experienced - All of our tutors have had significant experience in tutoring or teaching before. Even further, TT Learning also trains tutors and teachers from time to time to ensure that they are exemplifying the qualities we expect of them.
• Passionate - During the interview process, all potential tutors are put through a "mock trial" where they must teach and explain a random problem (taken from a textbook of a subject they're interested in tutoring in) to our hiring managers. During this "trial", tutors must show us that they are able to decipher the question correctly, explain the problem clearly, and make the subject matter interesting and fun so that a student would pay attention and want to learn more.

Whenever, Wherever, Whatever: Opening a tutorial network account with us gives you access to:

• Flexibility in time - Tutoring sessions are arranged around you and your child's available schedules. Our plethora of quality teachers ensures that you will never need to go out of your way just to get tutoring. Our policy states we can arrange a tutor for our clients within 1 week, but we're usually able to get this done in 3 days.
• Flexibility in location - Our tutors will go directly to your home at no extra charge if you wish. Or, you can just meet at one of our centers where we have plenty of classrooms designed for tutoring/teaching.
• Flexibility in subject - You will have access to all of our tutors of different subjects (AP U.S. History, SAT II Chemistry, ESL, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Spanish, Reading Comprehension, Handwriting, etc.) whenever you need them.

Our tutors are all paid based on performance. So, the better the student and parent feedback, the more they get paid, and the more students they pick up. Similarly, the worse the student and parent feedback, the less they get paid, and the less students they pick up. Hence, in the very end, ineffective tutors are naturally wiped out of our tutorial network.

Satisfaction Guaranteed: If, for whatever reason, you are not satisfied with the tutor we assign you, we will refund you for that first hour of tutoring and arrange you with a new tutor.

Payment

You may either pay by credit card or by check, payable to "ThinkTank Learning." To insure that there is no confusion with your payment, please make your payments directly to ThinkTank Learning. Payments to tutor will not be accepted.

Time-sheets

To keep track of your tutoring sessions, our tutor will ask you to sign a time-sheet after each session. The time-sheet includes both amount of hours and the topics covered during the session, so you know what your child learned. Please make sure that the time and information on the time-sheet are correct and filled out properly before signing it, since it is the official record for your tutoring sessions.
